UP Youth Adda: Uttar Pradesh to Launch ‘Youth Adda’ in All 75 Districts to Turn Job Seekers into Job Creators

UP Youth Adda to Build a Strong Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Across Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow | June 27, 2026 : The Uttar Pradesh government is preparing to launch UP Youth Adda, an ambitious initiative that aims to transform job seekers into job creators through entrepreneurship, skill development, financial support, and digital services.

The programme, developed by the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Consultants Limited (UPICON), will establish Youth Adda centres in all 75 districts of the state. The first centre will open in Gorakhpur, followed by a phased rollout across the remaining districts.

Unlike conventional employment centres, UP Youth Adda will function as a customer-facing enterprise ecosystem, bringing government schemes, startup guidance, business mentoring, financing support, and digital services under one roof.

What Is UP Youth Adda?

A One-Stop Platform for Young Entrepreneurs

UP Youth Adda is designed to help young people convert business ideas into successful enterprises. The platform combines physical centres with digital services, making entrepreneurship support accessible across urban and rural Uttar Pradesh.

The initiative especially targets youth living in Tier-II, Tier-III cities and rural areas, where access to startup resources and business information remains limited.

Young entrepreneurs will receive support in:

  • Business idea development
  • Startup mentoring
  • Government schemes
  • Loan facilitation
  • Skill development
  • MSME registration
  • Digital business tools
  • Franchise opportunities
  • Compliance assistance

First Centre to Open in Gorakhpur

Statewide Rollout Planned

The first UP Youth Adda centre will become operational in Gorakhpur. Officials have confirmed that similar centres will gradually open across all 75 districts.

Each centre will work as a blended physical and digital hub where aspiring entrepreneurs can receive guidance from experts while accessing online learning resources and government services.

Single-Window Support for Startups and MSMEs

Everything Under One Roof

One of the biggest strengths of UP Youth Adda is its integrated service model.

Instead of visiting multiple government offices, young entrepreneurs will receive access to several services at one location.

These include:

Government Schemes

Support for programmes such as:

  • PMEGP
  • MUDRA Loans
  • CM Yuva Udyami Yojana
  • ODOP initiatives

MSME Services

Entrepreneurs will receive assistance with:

  • Udyam Registration
  • GST registration
  • Business compliance
  • Branding
  • Packaging
  • Digital marketing
  • Technology adoption

Franchise Opportunities

The initiative also plans to connect participants with 100+ franchise models, allowing aspiring business owners to start enterprises with established brands.

Modern Skill Development Will Be a Key Focus

Training in AI, Drones and Digital Technologies

UP Youth Adda goes beyond traditional entrepreneurship training.

Participants will receive industry-focused programmes in emerging sectors, including:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Drone technology
  • Electric Vehicles (EVs)
  • Digital commerce
  • Financial literacy
  • Digital marketing
  • Business management

The courses will also include entrepreneurship development, vocational training, and practical business workshops.

Financial and Business Support for Entrepreneurs

Helping Startups Move Faster

Starting a business often involves complex paperwork. Therefore, UP Youth Adda will guide participants through important business procedures.

Support will include:

  • GST registration
  • Business compliance
  • Udyam registration
  • Loan applications
  • E-commerce onboarding
  • Market linkages

These services aim to reduce barriers that many first-time entrepreneurs face while launching a business.

Why UP Youth Adda Matters

Bridging the Gap Between Talent and Opportunity

Officials believe many talented young people have innovative business ideas but lack access to the right ecosystem.

In several Tier-II and Tier-III cities, information about government schemes, funding opportunities, mentorship, and startup support remains scattered.

UP Youth Adda addresses this challenge by creating a single platform where aspiring entrepreneurs can access guidance, training, finance, and networking opportunities in one place.

Vision for Uttar Pradesh’s Startup Ecosystem

Supporting Viksit Bharat Through Entrepreneurship

According to UPICON, the long-term vision of UP Youth Adda is to create a stronger entrepreneurship ecosystem across Uttar Pradesh.

The programme targets:

  • Over 5 lakh youth beneficiaries
  • More than 10,000 youth enterprises and franchisees
  • Support for 25,000 MSMEs
  • Credit mobilisation exceeding ₹1,000 crore
  • Fully operational Youth Adda centres in all 75 districts by 2027.

These goals align with Uttar Pradesh’s broader efforts to promote self-employment, innovation, and inclusive economic growth.

The launch of UP Youth Adda marks an important step in Uttar Pradesh’s employment and entrepreneurship strategy. Instead of focusing only on job placement, the initiative aims to build a generation of business owners who can create employment for others.

With single-window services, startup mentoring, financial guidance, AI-focused skill training, and district-level outreach, UP Youth Adda has the potential to become one of India’s most comprehensive youth entrepreneurship programmes. If implemented successfully, it could strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s startup ecosystem while creating thousands of new enterprises across the state.
