Lucknow | July 8, 2026 : Lucknow is on track to become India’s Missile and Aerospace Hub as the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor enters a new phase of expansion. The state government has assigned specialized roles to all six corridor nodes. As a result, Lucknow will focus on missile systems, aerospace technologies, and advanced defence research.

This strategy will strengthen India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem. It will also support the country’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat by reducing dependence on imported military technology.
