Union Minister to Inaugurate IIA International Tourism and Hospitality Expo 2025

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to inaugurate IIA International Tourism and Hospitality Expo 2025 in Varanasi, promoting tourism and MSMEs.

New Delhi | 12 September, 2025 : Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, will inaugurate the IIA International Tourism and Hospitality Expo 2025. The event will be held in December in Varanasi. The expo will promote tourism, help MSMEs, and showcase India’s culture to the world.

IIA Leaders Meet Union Minister

On 11 September 2025, a team from the Indian Industries Association (IIA) met the Union Minister in Delhi.

The team was led by IIA National President Dinesh Goyal. Other members included Rahul Mehta, Vishard Gautam, and Gajendra Singh.

The Minister accepted the invitation and agreed to inaugurate the expo.

Focus on Tourism and MSMEs

Union Minister Shekhawat praised IIA for connecting the government with MSMEs. He said tourism has huge potential in India.

He also highlighted Varanasi as an important city for tourism and culture. The Central and State Governments are actively supporting tourism development in the city.

What the Expo Will Offer

IIA President Dinesh Goyal said the expo will provide:

  • Details of government tourism schemes
  • Investment opportunities in tourism
  • Job creation programs
  • Information on historical and spiritual sites

Rahul Mehta said the expo will showcase Varanasi’s culture. Visitors, entrepreneurs, and foreign guests will get a full view of the city’s tourism and heritage.

The IIA International Tourism and Hospitality Expo 2025 will strengthen Indian tourism and MSMEs. It will highlight Varanasi’s culture and attract global attention to India’s tourism sector.
