IIA Women’s Wing Orientation Meet Focuses on Empowerment and Growth

Lucknow | September 18, 2025 : The Indian Industries Association (IIA) Women’s Wing held its orientation meet at IIA Bhawan, Lucknow. The event was part of the 40-year celebration of IIA’s work for MSMEs. It highlighted the role of women entrepreneurs in self-reliance, empowerment, and business growth.
MSMEs: A Pathway for Women Entrepreneurs
Anandi Agrawal, Chairperson of IIA Women’s Wing, said that MSMEs are helping women become self-reliant. She noted that women’s participation in MSME growth is increasing every year.
Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, Dean of Integral University, called MSME women entrepreneurs “a shining example of empowerment.”
Digital Growth and Networking Opportunities
Dr. Ranjan also led a session on the use of LinkedIn. He explained how women entrepreneurs can use the platform for visibility, networking, and business growth. He shared tips for building strong profiles and expanding digital presence.
The session encouraged women to use modern business tools and stay active in the digital economy.
Vastu Knowledge for Workplace Success
Mrs. Suhani Pandey, Reiki Grandmaster and Astro-Vastu Consultant, gave a lecture on the role of Vastu at work. She explained common myths about Vastu doshas and shared simple methods to create a positive workspace.
Her advice aimed to help entrepreneurs combine effort with the right environment to achieve success.
Creative Celebration of IIA’s 40 Years
The program celebrated 40 years of IIA’s journey with a cake-cutting ceremony. It honored the association’s achievements and legacy.
To make the day special, a diary painting activity was held. Participants created artworks inspired by the IIA logo.
A Strong Platform for Women’s Leadership
The orientation gave women entrepreneurs a chance to connect, learn, and share ideas. It reflected the vision of IIA Women’s Wing: to promote growth, knowledge, and leadership among women.
Vice Chairperson Ayushi Shukla, Co-Vice Chairperson Priyanka Tandon, and members Sohni Pandey and Nidhi Sethia joined actively. They thanked all participants for making the event a success.
