Union Bank of India Walkathon Promotes Integrity
Union Bank of India hosts walkathon in Mumbai to spread vigilance, ethics, and integrity ahead of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025.

New Delhi | 12 September, 2025 : On September 11, 2025, Union Bank of India held a walkathon at Marine Drive in Mumbai. It was organized ahead of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025.
Senior leaders and staff took part in the event. Shri Nitesh Ranjan and Shri Sanjay Rudra, Executive Directors, joined the walk. Shri Ajay Kumar Singh, Chief Vigilance Officer, also walked with other employees.
Aim of the Walkathon
The walkathon carried simple but strong messages:
- Preventive Vigilance
- PIDPI (Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers)
- Whistle-blower system
It also promoted honesty, fairness, and ethical behavior. The Union Bank of India walkathon showed the bank’s stand on integrity.
Message for the Public
This event was not only for bank staff. It also sent a clear message to the community. Union Bank highlighted the need for ethics and vigilance in daily life.
Activities for Vigilance Awareness Week 2025
