Lucknow | 23, July 2025 : The Uttar Pradesh government recently approved a crucial proposal to develop the Intelligence Bureau’s OCR Complex in Ayodhya. Consequently, it transferred 1,000 square meters of land free of cost to the Ministry of Home Affairs. This land will host the new complex.

Earlier this month, the government also allotted eight acres of land for a National Security Guard (NSG) hub in Ayodhya. These moves show the state’s commitment to boosting security and intelligence operations.

Strategic Benefits of the OCR Complex

This new OCR Complex will help the Intelligence Bureau improve surveillance and intelligence gathering in the region. Moreover, having a dedicated center in Ayodhya will increase the speed and efficiency of these operations.

In addition, the NSG hub will enhance rapid deployment for counter-terrorism and special security tasks. Together, these projects will strengthen safety and security for the local population.
