What Will Be Made Here?
SAEL’s new plant will have two main units:

This means the plant will make solar cells and then use them to build full solar panels. After this project, SAEL’s total solar making power will reach 8.5 GW.
Why Uttar Pradesh?
Greater Noida is a smart choice for this factory. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) will handle the land and support. The area has good roads and other help for big factories.

Jobs and Local Growth
The new factory will create thousands of jobs. People in Greater Noida and nearby places will get work in building and running the plant.
India’s Solar Goal
India wants to make more solar panels at home. This helps cut imports and saves money. Big local plants also help India meet its target of 500 GW green power by 2030.
When Will It Start?
The work will start soon this year. The factory should be ready between 2025 and 2026. SAEL is also building other clean energy projects in Andhra Pradesh. It got over ₹1,000 crore from global banks for this.
