Green Gold Animation invites aspiring writers across India to join its nationwide writer hunt and create the next big kids’ animation IP

Lucknow | 21, August 2025 : Green Gold Animation, the studio that made Chhota Bheem, has launched a nationwide writer hunt. The aim is to find new writers who can create India’s next big kids’ animation IP.

Open for All Aspiring Writers

The contest is open to students, young writers, and anyone who enjoys telling stories for children. You do not need past experience in animation. What matters is fresh ideas, humor, and a feel for kids’ emotions.

Paid Work and Training

Writers who get selected will work with the Green Gold team. They will join writers, artists, and producers to shape a new show. These jobs are paid. Writers will also receive guidance from senior mentors. This way, they can learn while working.

Rajiv Chilaka Explains the Goal

Rajiv Chilaka, Founder and CEO of Green Gold Animation, shared the reason behind the program.

“For almost twenty years, we have created characters loved by kids. But stories must change with every new generation. Today’s children are curious and expressive. So, our stories should reflect that. With this nationwide writer hunt, we want fresh voices who can make children laugh, think, and dream.”
