Lucknow : PNB Hockey Academy Delhi received a major boost as Punjab National Bank (PNB) inaugurated its revamped Hockey Academy in the national capital on 06 January 2026. With this step, the bank reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to promoting hockey and nurturing young sporting talent in India.
The upgraded academy is located at Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi, and reflects PNB’s sustained focus on grassroots sports development.
Revamped Academy Inaugurated by PNB MD & CEO
The newly upgraded PNB Hockey Academy Delhi was inaugurated by Shri Ashok Chandra, MD & CEO, Punjab National Bank, in the presence of senior bank officials, coaches, and players from the senior hockey team.
The event marked an important milestone in PNB’s efforts to support Indian hockey through structured training and long-term athlete development.

Training 25 Players Aged 14–17 Years
PNB’s Hockey Academy functions as a state-of-the-art training platform with modern infrastructure. The academy focuses on identifying and grooming 25 young players aged between 14 and 17 years.
These players receive comprehensive support that helps them build strong foundations for professional hockey careers.
