Mobile Phone Manufacturing in Yamuna City Boosts Jobs

Lucknow : Mobile phone manufacturing in Yamuna City is all set to become a reality as Radiant Appliances and Electronics Technologies Ltd. has been allotted 22.49 acres of land in Sector 28 by the Yamuna Industrial Development Authority. This landmark step is expected to attract a whopping investment of ₹538.38 crore under the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) scheme.

With plans to manufacture components like batteries, chargers, and motherboards, the project will play a vital role in making Yamuna City a new electronics manufacturing hub in India. The facility is expected to create over 3,000 direct employment opportunities, further strengthening the industrial ecosystem of Greater Noida.

“Four companies have already applied for land in the cluster, focusing on mobile batteries, chargers, and PCBs,” said Arunvir Singh, CEO of Yamuna Authority.

Infrastructure Update: Better Commute for Noida Residents

In a parallel development, Noida is improving public mobility. A dedicated lane for buses and autos from Sector-62 to Mamura Chowk is being constructed with a ₹2.9 crore budget. This 600-meter stretch is expected to ease daily traffic woes and ensure smoother commutes.
