Lucknow | June 25, 2026 : Lucknow witnessed the successful staging of the My First Encounter Play, a thought-provoking theatrical production that explored the serious issue of fake police encounters. The play was presented by Safar Foundation under the financial support of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and organized by Shraddha Manav Seva Kalyan Samiti. The performance took place at the International Buddhist Research Institute in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
Play Delivers a Powerful Social Message
The My First Encounter Play presents a gripping story about law enforcement, ambition, and ethics. It follows the journey of Inspector Vikram Singh, a newly appointed police officer determined to prove his abilities by carrying out a high-profile police encounter.

However, his police station has very little serious crime. As pressure increases, he begins searching for ways to create an encounter that will impress his senior officers.
Story Exposes the Dangers of Misusing Power
The story takes a dramatic turn when Inspector Vikram follows poor advice from a senior officer. He plans to frame a petty thief as a dangerous criminal to justify a fake encounter.
Although the entire police team supports the plan, unexpected events unfold. Soon, they become trapped in their own conspiracy, exposing the dangers of abusing authority and manipulating the justice system.
