SLBC-Delhi Holds 120th Quarterly Meeting, Focus on Financial Inclusion
SLBC-Delhi reviews bank performance and launches a three-month drive to boost financial inclusion in the capital.

New Delhi | 14 August 2025 : The SLBC-Delhi held its 120th Quarterly Meeting on 14 August 2025.
The meeting was led by Sh. D. Surendran, Executive Director, Punjab National Bank.
Other attendees included :
- Sh. Rohit P. Das, Regional Director, RBI,
- Sh. S. S. Parihar, IAS, Special Secretary (Finance), GNCTD,
- Sh. Parveen Goyal, Chief General Manager, Punjab National Bank,
- Sh. Natarajan Ramachandran, General Manager, SIDBI,
- Mrs. Aditi Gupta, DGM, RBI,
- Sh. Rajesh Kumar, General Manager & Convener, SLBC-Delhi,
- Sh. Mukesh Sethi, DGM, SLBC-Delhi.
Representatives from member banks, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, GNCTD, and Lead District Managers were also present.
Main Points of Discussion
The agenda covered:
- The three-month saturation campaign for financial inclusion,
- Performance review of banks in Q1 2025–26,
- Progress under PM Surya Ghar Yojana, PM Vishwakarma, and PMMY,
- Targets under the Annual Credit Plan.
The SLBC-Delhi stressed the need for better performance in all areas.
Focus on the Saturation Campaign
The Ministry of Finance has started a three-month campaign to expand financial services.
The main goals are:
- Open new PMJDY accounts,
- Enroll people in PMJJBY, PMSBY, and APY,
- Complete re-KYC and add account nominations,
- Warn people about digital frauds.
Leaders at the meeting asked all banks and LDMs to give full support.
Why This Matters
Better financial inclusion will help citizens access social security schemes. It will also improve public awareness of safe banking practices. These steps aim to connect more people to the formal banking system.

The SLBC-Delhi promised to work closely with banks, regulators, and government agencies. The aim is to make sure financial services reach every family in the capital region.
