PNB Signs MoU with TCIL to Boost IT

PNB partners with TCIL to strengthen IT systems, speed up digital banking, and support the Digital India mission.

New Delhi | 12 September, 2025 : Punjab National Bank (PNB) has signed an MoU with Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) on 11 September 2025. The aim is to improve PNB’s IT systems and make banking services faster and safer.

The ceremony was held at TCIL Headquarters in New Delhi. Shri Manish Agrawal, GM of PNB, attended with senior officials. Shri Sanjeev Kumar, CMD of TCIL, led the TCIL team.

Key Areas of Support

The deal will help PNB upgrade its digital services. TCIL will support in:

  • IT consultancy and project management
  • System integration and rollout of IT systems
  • RFP lifecycle management
  • Safe and compliant technology use

Depending on the project, TCIL will act as Project Management Consultant (PMC) or Project Implementing Agency (PIA).

Shri Manish Agrawal said the MoU is an important step. He noted that TCIL’s help will speed up modernization. He also said customers will get better and more secure digital banking.

Shri Sanjeev Kumar said the partnership shows TCIL’s strength as a trusted partner. He explained that TCIL’s skills in consultancy and execution will help PNB build a strong IT base and give more value to customers.

This partnership will allow PNB to use new technology quickly. Customers will enjoy faster, smoother, and safer services.

The MoU also supports the Government of India’s Digital India mission. It helps build trust in digital banking and pushes India toward a stronger, tech-driven future.

The PNB–TCIL MoU will improve PNB’s IT systems and customer services. The step will create secure, modern, and easy-to-use banking for millions of customers.
