SBI Card and PhonePe Partner to Launch Co-Branded PhonePe SBI Card
New PhonePe SBI Credit Card Brings Rewards, Travel Perks, and UPI Convenience
Lucknow | July 22, 2025 : SBI Card, India’s top pure-play credit card company, has teamed up with PhonePe to launch the PhonePe SBI Card. The new co-branded card aims to reward daily spending and offer easy credit access for customers across India.
Two Variants to Suit Different Lifestyles
The PhonePe SBI Card comes in two options — PhonePe SBI Card PURPLE and PhonePe SBI Card SELECT BLACK. Both cards work on RuPay and VISA networks. Customers can pick the network they prefer.
RuPay cardholders can link the card to UPI for payments at millions of shops. VISA cardholders can tokenize their card on PhonePe for safe online spending.
Big Rewards on Everyday Spends
With this card, customers earn reward points on daily spends like groceries, travel, utility bills, insurance payments and online shopping.
Holders of the PhonePe SBI Card SELECT BLACK get up to 10% value back as reward points on spends within the PhonePe and Pincode apps. They also get up to 5% back on other online shopping.
The PhonePe SBI Card PURPLE offers up to 3% back on PhonePe app spends and 2% back on other online spends. Both cards give 1% back on other eligible purchases.
Easy Sign-Up and Simple Use
Applying for the card is easy through the PhonePe app. After approval, customers can shop with the card and pay the bills on PhonePe too.

Strong Welcome and Milestone Benefits
PhonePe SBI Card SELECT BLACK offers a ₹1,500 PhonePe e-gift voucher on joining. Cardholders get a ₹5,000 travel voucher after spending ₹5,00,000 in a year. There’s also a 1% fuel surcharge waiver and four free domestic lounge visits per year.
PhonePe SBI Card PURPLE offers a ₹500 e-gift voucher on joining. Users get a ₹3,000 travel voucher after spending ₹3,00,000 in a year. This card also includes a 1% fuel surcharge waiver.
Spend-Based Renewal Waiver
Customers can get their annual renewal fee back if they meet yearly spend targets — ₹3,00,000 for SELECT BLACK and ₹1,00,000 for PURPLE.
Easy Redeem Options
Reward points can be used to pay off credit card bills or to get e-gift vouchers from the SBI Card rewards catalogue.
