Noida Smartphone Manufacturing Leads Q2 2025 : Dixon Tops, BPL Surges
Dixon takes top spot with 22% share, while BPL posts record growth; Noida accounts for 65% of India’s smartphone production in Q2 2025.

Lucknow | 31, August 2025 : India’s smartphone industry saw strong growth in Q2 2025. Noida smartphone manufacturing played the biggest role in this success. Dixon Technologies became the largest producer with 22% market share. At the same time, BPL showed the fastest growth with a jump of over 1,000%.
Together with Samsung, Vivo, and Oppo, the Noida factories now make up almost 65% of India’s smartphone output by volume.
Dixon Technologies Becomes Number One
Dixon Technologies grew fast in just one year. The company moved from sixth to first place with a 196% increase in production. Global brands such as Motorola, Xiaomi, realme, and Transsion gave Dixon strong orders. This helped the Noida-based company take the top spot.
BPL Shows Record Growth
BPL surprised the industry with its rise in 2025. The company now makes more than 2 million phones every month. It also entered the list of top five smartphone makers in India for the first time. BPL is expanding its capacity near Greater Noida to meet rising demand.
Noida Holds 65% of India’s Production
With Dixon, BPL, Samsung, Vivo, and Oppo, Noida has become the true hub of phone manufacturing. These companies together control nearly two-thirds of India’s smartphone production. This shows the strength of Noida smartphone manufacturing in the country’s electronics sector.
India’s Smartphone Market in Q2 2025
- India’s smartphone shipments grew 8% year-on-year.
- In value, the market rose by 18%, thanks to new launches and promotions.
- Exports went up by 32%, driving the “Made in India” push.
- In sales, Vivo led the market with 20% share, followed by Samsung (16%), Oppo (13%), realme (10%), and Xiaomi (8%).
What Lies Ahead for Noida
Noida’s factories are now the center of India’s smartphone success. The government’s PLI scheme and other incentives are boosting this growth.
- BPL is aiming for ₹15,000 crore revenue in FY 2025-26. It also targets 25 million units by the end of the year.
- Dixon is adding new capacity to serve global brands and meet strong export demand.
With this growth, Noida smartphone manufacturing is set to lead India’s future in mobile production.
