Minda Corporation to Build New EV Component Plant in YEIDA Sector-10

₹500 Crore Investment to Drive EV Component Manufacturing and Create 7,000+ Jobs in YEIDA Sector-10

Lucknow | 19 September 2025 : Minda Corporation is setting up a new manufacturing facility in YEIDA Sector-10. The company already runs many plants in Noida. However, this unit will focus only on EV and ADAS components.

What the Plant Will Produce

The new unit will make:

  • Wiring harnesses
  • Sensors
  • Connectors
  • Other key EV parts

These parts are essential for electric vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems.

Investment and Land

Minda Corporation will invest over ₹500 crore in this project. YEIDA has already issued a Letter of Intent (LoI). Land allotment and clearances will follow soon.

Job Creation

The project is expected to:

  • Create 2,200 direct jobs
  • Support about 5,000 indirect jobs

This will give a big boost to local employment.
