Application Process

Applications must be submitted online via the Nivesh Mitra portal. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

  1. Registration: Register on the Nivesh Mitra portal to obtain a user ID and password.
  2. Fee Payment:
    • Pay the non-refundable E-Brochure Document Fee and Processing Fee as specified.
    • Deposit 10% of the total plot premium as Registration Money (adjustable/refundable for unsuccessful applicants).
  3. Payment Methods:

    • NEFT
    • RTGS
    • E-Challan
  4. Document Submission: Upload self-attested documents (detailed below) during the application process.

Important: GIDA reserves the right to withdraw the scheme or reject applications without assigning reasons. All correspondence must be in English, and payments must be in Indian National Rupees (INR).

Allotment Process

The allotment process varies based on plot size:

  1. Scrutiny: The Screening Committee reviews applications. Incomplete or incorrect applications may be rejected or require clarification.
  2. Allotment: The Allotment Committee recommends eligible applicants, and the competent authority approves the final list.
  3. Allotment Letter: Issued within 30 days of approval, specifying the plot number.
  4. Payment:
    • Deposit 30% of the total premium (after adjusting Registration Money) within 60 days of the allotment letter issuance.
    • The remaining 70% is payable in 10 half-yearly installments over 5 years with interest (currently 10% p.a., subject to change).
    • Option for full payment within 60 days with a 2% rebate on the total premium.

Note: Non-payment within the stipulated time leads to cancellation and forfeiture of Registration Money. In exceptional cases, a 90-day extension may be granted with interest, subject to CEO approval.
