Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Sells 5.34 Lakh Units in August 2025

HMSI posts strong August sales with new launches, safety drives, and motorsport achievements.

New Delhi, 1, September 2025Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) sold 5,34,861 two-wheelers in August 2025. Sales grew 4% compared to July 2025. Out of these, 4,81,021 units were sold in India. Exports stood at 53,840 units.

April–August 2025 Sales

Between April and August 2025, HMSI sold 24,22,880 units. Domestic sales were 21,73,834 units. Exports touched 2,49,046 units.

Road Safety Programs

HMSI ran road safety drives in 12 cities, including Prayagraj, Bangalore, Trichy, and Jodhpur. The focus was on safe riding and responsible road use.

The brand also marked the 6th anniversary of its Safety Driving Education Centre (SDEC) in Ranchi. The centre trains people in safe riding habits.

New Products

In August, HMSI delivered the new CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX. Launch events in Ludhiana, Pune, Chennai, Noida, and Lucknow saw strong customer interest.

The company also added new BigWing outlets in Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Chennai. These outlets strengthen its premium segment.

Motorsport Highlights

The MotoGP races in Austria and Hungary drew attention worldwide.

In Indonesia, Honda Racing India riders Kavin Quintal and Johann Reeves competed in Round 4 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship.

In Coimbatore, Round 2 of the IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup CB300F gave young racers a chance to showcase their skills.
