Honda launches CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX with sporty features, smart tech, and affordable pricing to excite new-age and daily riders.

Gurugram | 1, August 2025 : Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched two new motorcycles — the Honda CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX. These models target both young urban riders and everyday commuters.

The CB125 Hornet starts at a special launch price of ₹1,12,000. The Shine 100 DX is priced at ₹74,959 (both ex-showroom, Gurugram). Bookings are now open online and at authorized Honda dealerships across India.

Honda CB125 Hornet: Designed for Young Riders

The CB125 Hornet is built for next-gen bikers who want performance and style. It carries the theme “Ride Your Rizz”, reflecting its bold design and thrilling ride.

  • Sporty design with sharp fuel tank, stylish muffler, and four color options
  • Golden USD front forks (first in segment) for better stability
  • All-LED lighting with twin-LED headlamp and DRLs
  • Bluetooth-connected 4.2-inch TFT display via Honda RoadSync
  • USB Type-C charger, side-stand cut-off, and 240mm front disc with ABS

The bike runs on a 123.94cc fuel-injected engine, producing 8.2 kW at 7500 RPM and 11.2 Nm at 6000 RPM. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox and hits 0-60 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, making it the fastest in its class.

Shine 100 DX: A Premium Daily Commuter

The Shine 100 DX continues Honda’s strong legacy with improved features and comfort. Its new slogan “Solid Hai” reflects its reliability and stylish upgrade.

  • Chrome-detailed headlamp and stylish fuel tank
  • All-black engine and grab rail with chrome muffler cover
  • Digital LCD display with real-time mileage, fuel range, and service alerts
  • Available in four colors: Pearl Black, Red Metallic, Blue Metallic, and Geny Gray

It runs on a 98.98cc engine with Honda’s eSP (Enhanced Smart Power). The engine generates 5.43 kW at 7500 RPM and 8.04 Nm at 5000 RPM, paired with a 4-speed gearbox.

For comfort and safety, it features:

  • Telescopic front forks and 5-step adjustable rear shocks
  • Drum brakes with Honda’s CBS (Combined Braking System)
  • High ground clearance for better control on Indian roads
