Union Bank of India Hosts Financial Inclusion Camp in Meerut

Union Bank of India promotes government schemes and digital safety through Financial Inclusion Saturation Camp in rural Meerut.

Meerut | 6, August 2025 : Union Bank of India held a Financial Inclusion Saturation Camp at Amehra Adipur Grampanchayat in Meerut. The camp is part of a three-month drive started by the Department of Financial Services. It runs from July to September 2025.

What the Camp Offers

The Financial Inclusion Saturation Camp helps people:

  • Open bank accounts under PMJDY
  • Join insurance plans like PMJJBY and PMSBY
  • Enroll in Atal Pension Yojana (APY)
  • Learn how to stay safe from online fraud

Leaders Talk About the Importance

Shri S Ramasubramanian, Executive Director of Union Bank, opened the event. He spoke about why financial inclusion is important. He also gave tips to stay safe while banking online.

Ms. Archana Shukla, Zonal Head for Meerut, also spoke. She asked people to join these helpful schemes. She said they give people safety and help for the future.
