Lucknow | 17, July 2025 : The Government of Uttar Pradesh is working hard to make the state better for business. Recently, a new stakeholder meeting showed this strong push for the Ease of Doing Business in Uttar Pradesh.

Nivesh Mitra 3.0: A Better Single-Window System

The meeting took place at the Invest UP office. Here, top officials met with leaders from many industry groups. The main focus was Nivesh Mitra 3.0, the new version of the state’s single-window system.

As a result, companies will soon get approvals faster and easier. The new portal will include more automation and clear steps. Moreover, the design will help users work smoothly without confusion.

Over 1,000 Reforms Already Done

So far, Uttar Pradesh has already made big progress. In fact, the state has put in place over 1,000 reforms under the Business Reforms Action Plan. These steps help businesses get permits and clear papers on time.

In addition, more than 200 services now fall under the Janhit Guarantee Act. Therefore, companies can expect quick delivery of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and other approvals.

Ease of Doing Business in Uttar Pradesh

Many Departments, Many Services, One Window

The Ease of Doing Business in Uttar Pradesh depends on strong digital tools. Today, 45 departments work through this single system. In total, more than 524 services are online. So, investors spend less time on paperwork. They can instead focus on growing their businesses.

During the meeting, industry leaders shared clear ideas. They spoke about ways to speed up work even more. For example, they called for strict timelines, quick help for complaints, and clear updates.

Notably, top industry voices joined the talks. Some key names included Mr. Alok Shukla (CII), Mr. Madhusudan Dadu (Laghu Udyog Bharati), Mr. D.S Verma (IIA), Dr. Lalit Khaitan (PHDCCI UP), Mr. Amit Gupta (FICCI), Mr. Mukesh Singh (IACC), and Mr. D.P Singh (ASSOCHAM UP).

Next Steps for a Better Business Climate

Going forward, the team will use this feedback to shape Nivesh Mitra 3.0. New changes will bring strict service timelines. In addition, complaints will get quick answers. Also, the system will match top states to keep UP ahead in ease of business.
