Yogi Adityanath : Uttar Pradesh is Poised to be India’s Largest Economy

Chief Minister Outlines Vision for a Developed and Self-Reliant State, Citing Unprecedented Progress.

Lucknow | 12, August 2025 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said the state is on track to become India’s largest economy. Speaking to the media, he credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for this growth. The state has made huge progress over the past eight and a half years. He noted the government has worked hard to help workers, young people, women, and business owners.

A New Look for the State

Adityanath mentioned a big change in how people see Uttar Pradesh. He said many groups, both national and international, have praised the state’s efforts. The current legislative session is very important. Lawmakers will talk about key issues like floods, health, and education. The government is ready to answer questions. It wants the session to be a place for real and meaningful talks.

A 25-Year Plan for the Future

The Chief Minister linked the state’s goals to the Prime Minister’s call for a “Developed India.” He said a “Developed India” needs a Developed Uttar Pradesh. Because of this, the government has a plan for the next 25 years.

The state’s legislature will discuss this plan for 24 hours straight on August 13 and 14. This will be the first time a legislative body has such a long discussion about a vision document. The government will present its full action plan.

Working Together

Adityanath noted that party leaders have already agreed on this issue. The government will also announce a plan to get ideas from NITI Aayog, experts, and the public.
