January 7, 2025 | New Delhi : Chhonzin Angmo, a Union Bank of India employee and a renowned visually impaired mountaineer, has achieved another historic milestone. She has successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, standing tall at 5,895 metres.

With this feat, Chhonzin Angmo visually impaired mountaineer has become the only woman in the world to conquer Mount Everest, Mount Elbrus, and Mount Kilimanjaro. Her achievement has added a new chapter to the history of Indian mountaineering.

Challenging Weather on the Lemosho Route
