CM Yogi Adityanath Inaugurates ₹2,264 Crore Projects in Bareilly, Highlights Nath Corridor’s Role in City’s Transformation

Lucknow | 6, August 2025 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said the Bareilly Nath Corridor is giving the city a fresh identity. Known for Lord Parshvanath, Bareilly is now growing fast. Roads are improving. Jobs are increasing. People’s income is also rising.
Over ₹2,264 Crore Worth of Projects in a Day
The CM launched 545 projects worth ₹2,264 crore during his visit to Bareilly.
- 222 finished projects worth ₹1,259 crore
- 323 new projects worth ₹1,005 crore
He also gave away gas stoves, house keys, cheques, and tablets to the public. These show how government schemes are reaching everyone.
More Than 6,000 Youths Get Jobs
At a job fair, 6,000 youths received appointment letters from private firms. The CM met many of them and encouraged others to follow. He said that youth power is the strength of the state.
Under the Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan, more than 70,000 youths have been trained and given loans to start their businesses.
Nath Corridor Boosts Tourism
Bareilly is changing fast. Once known for unrest, it is now a center of faith and tourism. The Nath Corridor links seven major temples in the city. These are:
- Alaknath
- Trivatinath
- Banakhandinath
- Dhopeshwarnath
- Tapeshwarnath
- Pashupatinath
- Tulsi Math
During this year’s Kanwar Yatra, lakhs of people came. Even with heavy rains, the event was peaceful and well managed.
Uttar Pradesh Growing With Faith and Safety
CM Yogi said that today’s Uttar Pradesh is both safe and growing. New roads, medical colleges, and job opportunities are helping every district. He added that in earlier years, people were afraid to speak up. But now, everyone feels proud and safe.
So far, 8.5 lakh youths have been given government jobs. Among them, 12,000 women joined the police force. Youth are now helping shape a stronger state.
Upcoming Projects for the Region
The CM held a review meeting for Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, and Badaun. Projects discussed included:
- Widening of NH-24
- A new Unani Medical College
- More flyovers
- Better flood control systems
Raksha Bandhan Gift for Women
CM Yogi announced free bus travel for all women on August 8, 9, and 10. One family member can also travel free. This is a gift for Raksha Bandhan.
Bareilly Shines Through Faith and Growth
The Nath Corridor is helping both tourism and the local economy. Other works include:
- Upgrades to Ahichhatra Jain temple
- Clean energy use
- Better electricity, roads, and water supply
