Work Starts on 115 KM Link Road for Bundelkhand Expressway

Lucknow | 16, July 2025 : The new Jhansi Link Expressway project has started. It will connect Jhansi with the Bundelkhand Expressway. This road will run for 115 kilometers and pass through 63 villages in Jhansi and nearby areas.

Defense Corridor and BIDA to Get Connected

The Jhansi Link Expressway will link the Defense Corridor and BIDA (Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority) directly to the Bundelkhand Expressway. This road will help industries, farmers, and local businesses move goods faster and save time.

63 Villages Will Gain Better Roads

Many villages like Magarpur, Kanju, Kurkuti, Dungra, and Mothani will get direct benefits. People living here will travel faster. Farmers will carry crops to markets easily. Small shops and local businesses will see growth with better roads.

Project Costs ₹1300 Crore

The government will spend around ₹1300 crore on the Jhansi Link Expressway. Officials have started buying land and doing surveys. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will manage the work. This road will save time and boost local business.
