i-TEK Celebrates 25 Years with Panchajanya Experience Centre
Nitin Gadkari Inaugurates Silver Jubilee at i-TEK Headquarters

Pune | 16 September 2025 : Infotek Software & Systems Pvt. Ltd. (i-TEK) marked 25 years of success with a special event at its Pune headquarters. The company launched the Panchajanya Experience Centre on this occasion. Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the centre. Former Army Chief General Manoj Pande (Retd) attended as Guest of Honour.
25 Years of Innovation
i-TEK started as a small Pune-based firm. Today, it is one of India’s leading RFID and IoT companies. Every second vehicle in India uses a FASTag produced by i-TEK.
The company secures exports at 105 ports with RFID-enabled container eSeals. It has also transformed retail and warehousing. Inventory checks that once took months now finish in days. Each year, i-TEK tracks over 300 crore objects in sectors such as logistics, mining, oil & gas and utilities.
Gadkari Lauds i-TEK
Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari praised i-TEK for its role in digital transformation.
He said, “FASTag has removed long queues at toll plazas. It saves people time, fuel and money. It also improves government revenue. i-TEK’s work in container tracking and anti-counterfeiting is helping exports and logistics. This is real nation-building.”
He also congratulated Ashim and Avantika Patil for their leadership and contribution.
RFID’s Journey and i-TEK’s Role
General Manoj Pande (Retd) recalled RFID’s military origins during World War II. He noted that today it is part of daily life and business. With AI, IoT, blockchain and cloud, its future looks even stronger.
He called i-TEK 25 Years of work an example of Indian talent and perseverance.
Inside the Panchajanya Centre
The Panchajanya Experience Centre showcases live RFID and IoT applications. Visitors can see FASTag tolling, smart fitting rooms, quick retail checkouts and AI-driven warehouses. It also demonstrates container tracking and supply chain visibility.
This first-of-its-kind global centre shows how i-TEK’s innovations are shaping the digital economy.
Leaders Share Future Vision
CEO Ashim Patil thanked the i-TEK team, customers and partners. He said the company remains committed to India’s growth and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
He said, “Our GarudaVigil™ IoT platform marks a new growth phase. Our IPO and global expansion will bring Indian innovation to the world.”
Chairperson Avantika Patil said the goal is to make i-TEK a billion-dollar company while keeping its values of trust and service.
Next Phase of Growth
The RFID market may grow from $4 billion to $10 billion by 2030. i-TEK plans to capture this growth with its GarudaVigil™ platform. The system offers real-time monitoring and predictive analysis for supply chains.
The company also runs the Ashim-Avantika Foundation. It supports child healthcare and promotes traditional Indian sports.
The i-TEK 25 Years milestone is both a celebration and a fresh beginning. With new platforms, IPO plans and global ambitions, i-TEK is set to strengthen India’s digital backbone and support the dream of Viksit Bharat 2047.
