UPIDA to Develop Industrial Cluster in Bahadurpur, Gorakhpur
UPIDA’s new Bahadurpur industrial cluster to boost jobs, trade, and agro-industry in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Lucknow | 11, August 2025 : The Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Authority (UPIDA) will set up a new industrial cluster in Bahadurpur village. It is near the Link Expressway and Belaghat in Sant Kabir Nagar district. Azamgarh is also close by.
Prime Location for Growth
The cluster will focus on food production and logistics. It will cover 153 acres. UPIDA already has 127 acres. The rest will be acquired soon. Its location near the Link Expressway will speed up transport.
Close to Purvanchal Industrial Zone
The site is 50 km from the Purvanchal Industrial Zone. This will help attract new industries. It will also help existing businesses expand.
Modern and Well-Planned Facilities
The land will be split into six zones. These will have factories, warehouses, and logistics hubs. Plans include wide roads, drainage, steady power, clean water, cold storage, and green areas.
Jobs and Agro-Based Industry Growth
The project will create jobs for locals. It will help agro-based industries grow. Small and medium businesses will gain. Better roads will make it easier to send goods outside UP. With state support, Bahadurpur will become a key growth hub for Gorakhpur and nearby areas.
