34th IIA AGM Unites MSME Leaders in Lucknow
Empowering MSMEs Through Recognition, Motivation, and Visionary Leadership at One of India’s Largest Entrepreneurial Events

Lucknow | 8, August 2025 : The 34th IIA AGM was held on August 8, 2025, at Hotel Ramada, Lucknow. Over 650 entrepreneurs from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Delhi joined the event. It was one of the largest MSME gatherings this year.
Deputy CM Shows Support for MSMEs
Mr. Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, was the Chief Guest. He praised the Indian Industries Association for helping small businesses. He said that IIA is supporting the government’s mission to build a stronger MSME sector under PM Modi’s Industry 4.0 vision.
He added that the state’s large population can become a powerful business force. He also asked IIA to share suggestions that can improve business rules.
Sonu Sharma Inspires Entrepreneurs
A special session was held with Mr. Sonu Sharma, a well-known speaker and business coach. He shared simple tips on how to grow a business and stay strong during tough times. His talk was a major highlight of the 34th IIA AGM.
Top IIA Chapters Win Awards
Best Chapters in Growth
The IIA honored its best-performing chapters. The top five were:
- Hapur – 1st place (83.32%)
- Barabanki – 2nd
- Greater Noida – 3rd
- Bareilly – 4th
- Muzaffarnagar – 5th
Other Awards
Extra awards were given in five areas:
- Attendance in CEC meetings
- Best Manthan meeting
- Growth in membership
- President’s Special Award
- 100% report submission
These awards showed the hard work and teamwork of IIA chapters.
Focus on Water and Environment
The event started with a prayer led by Sr. VP Mr. Alok Agarwal. After that, a special event promoted “Jal Sanrakshan” (water saving). Leaders poured water from seven rivers into one vessel. This act stood for unity and care for nature.

Past President Reflects on Progress
Mr. Neeraj Singhal, the former president, opened the AGM. He shared the group’s progress during his term. He also thanked everyone for their support.
Current President Looks Ahead
Mr. Dinesh Goyal, the current president, shared plans for 2025–26. He urged entrepreneurs to try new ideas and learn new skills. He also spoke about creating a Resource Management Cell. This cell will help chapters and members connect better using technology.
He also said that IIA will help young people become business owners. They will get a chance to work with top industries.
Learning About Finance and Energy
Treasurer Shares Report
Mr. Awadhesh Kumar Agarwal, the Treasurer, presented the financial report. He focused on keeping money matters clear and under control. He also answered all questions from members.
Talks by Industry Experts
Guests from Tata Solar, Stockart, and Capital Crafter gave short talks. These covered solar energy, capital planning, and investments. The sessions gave fresh ideas to the audience.
AGM Ends on a Strong Note
Mr. Deepak Bajaj, the General Secretary, thanked everyone for joining. He praised the hard work of all office members and leaders. Today, IIA has over 15,000 members across India and is still growing.
The event ended with the National Anthem. It was a proud moment. Clearly, the 34th IIA AGM was not just a meeting—it was a major step for India’s MSMEs.
