IIA Starts New Session with Central Executive Committee Meeting in Lucknow

IIA’s 310th Central Executive Committee meeting sets clear goals for MSME growth, better technology, and easier business rules.

Lucknow | 19, July 2025 : The Indian Industries Association (IIA) held its first Central Executive Committee meeting for 2025-26 in Lucknow today. This was the 310th meeting of the committee. It took place at IIA Bhawan. Shri Dinesh Goyal, the National President of IIA, led the meeting.

Officials Came from Three States

More than 100 officials took part in the meeting. They came from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Delhi. They talked about how to help small businesses grow. Key topics were Ease of Doing Business, new technology, business growth, skill training, and exports.

Talks with the Government to Solve Problems

Shri Dinesh Goyal said IIA is working with the state and central government. He said IIA met Shri Vijay Kiran Anand, IAS, Chief Executive Officer of Invest UP. They spoke about making Ease of Doing Business better. IIA gave written ideas to make the Nivesh Mitra portal easier to use. Its new version, 3.0, will help business owners work faster.

Dr. M.K. Shanmuga Sundaram, IAS, Principal Secretary, Labor, also met IIA. They spoke about problems with labor laws. Officials from PF and ESI were also there. They said they will help fix these problems soon.

New Plans for Training and Technology

IIA will hold training programs for MSMEs. These programs will show how to use Google and Microsoft tools. They will also teach how to use Artificial Intelligence in business. IIA wants the government to give MSMEs low-cost help from tech experts.

Senior Vice President Shri Alok Agarwal said new plans for skill training are ready. These will help workers learn new skills.

More Events to Help Businesses Grow

General Secretary IIA said IIA will hold trade shows in many places in 2025-26. These shows will help MSMEs find more buyers in India and abroad. Some planned shows are the Build India Expo, Defense and Engineering Goods Expo, India Solar Expo, India Food Expo, and Tourism Expo.

Other Big Issues Under Discussion

National Treasurer Shri Awadhesh Aggarwal said IIA is also talking about other problems. These are about the Pleas Park Scheme, extra charges in industrial areas, and open power supply. He hopes these issues will be solved soon.

Next Annual Meeting Date Announced

The 34th Annual General Meeting of IIA will be held on 8 August 2025 at Hotel Ramada, Lucknow.

Senior Leaders Joined the Meeting

Past Presidents Shri G.C. Chaturvedi and Shri Anil Gupta were there. Many Vice Presidents, Secretaries, Divisional Heads, Chapter Heads, and other leaders also joined the meeting.

Conclusion

This first Central Executive Committee meeting shows IIA’s strong plan to help MSMEs. The focus will stay on Ease of Doing Business, better technology, skill training, and new markets.
